The importance of keeping ones word.
Of late I have found that folks are not up to speed on what is important. Seems they think that it’s ok to tell you they will do something and then not do it. For the life of me I fail to understand why people don’t get it. Take away all the fancy toys you have, your house, car, boat, etc… and all you have left is your word. At any given moment you could lose everything. However if you keep your word, which in the end defines how you are as a human, it does not matter what you lost.
If you tell someone you will pick them up, do it. If you say you will call, do it. Whatever comes out of your mouth, should be followed up on. It really does define what type of person you are. If you do not have your word what do you have? To me you can have all the toys in life, and if you cannot keep your word, your lower then whale dung.
